Wesley Hixson received his Masters of Music degree from the Chicago College of Performing Arts, where he studied with world- renowned guitarists Denis Azabagic and Sergio Assad.

As a member of the Avanti Guitar Trio Wesley performs in recitals throughout the United States and has been on the Elmhurst College music faculty since 2005.
